Upon arrival at Kalimarau Airport in Berau, meet our guide and begin the journey by road to Tanjung Batu, approximately three hours away.
From Tanjung Batu, board a speedboat and cruise to Derawan Island. Upon arrival, explore the village and experience the relaxed atmosphere of this famous island destination.
Continue by speedboat to Maratua Island, your base for the next few nights. After lunch and check-in at the resort, enjoy free time to relax or explore the surrounding waters by snorkeling or canoe.
As the day comes to an end, enjoy the beautiful sunset over the ocean.

Start early in the morning and depart from Maratua for Talisayan, one of the region’s renowned locations for encounters with whale sharks.
After arrival, enjoy a memorable snorkeling experience with these magnificent gentle giants, subject to weather, sea conditions, and local regulations. Breakfast will be provided as a packed meal.
Continue by boat to Manimbora Island, a small tropical island surrounded by white sand and turquoise waters. Its distinctive landscape has earned it the nickname “SpongeBob Island.” Enjoy time to explore the beach, take photographs, and relax in this beautiful setting.
Continue to Biduk-Biduk, where you will change to a traditional local boat for the journey to Labuan Cermin. Famous for its exceptionally clear water, this natural lake is known for its distinctive freshwater and saltwater layers.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Biduk-Biduk before beginning the return journey to Maratua.
Arrive back at the resort in the afternoon and enjoy free time for snorkeling, canoeing, or relaxing by the sea.

After breakfast, depart by speedboat for Sangalaki Island, an important nesting and conservation area for sea turtles.
Visit the local turtle conservation facility and learn about the protection of sea turtles and their journey from hatchlings to the open ocean. Depending on the season and conservation activities, you may have the opportunity to observe young turtles before they are released into the wild.
Continue to Kakaban Island, famous for its remarkable jellyfish lake. Enter the clear lake and experience the unique opportunity to swim among thousands of stingless jellyfish, an extraordinary natural phenomenon found in only a limited number of places around the world.
Return to the resort area for lunch before continuing to Goa Halo Tabung, a hidden natural cave surrounded by clear blue-green water. For those who wish to participate and when conditions are suitable, enjoy a refreshing swim or jump into the clear water from the designated cliff area.
After the day’s exploration, return to Maratua and enjoy a relaxing evening at the resort.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time on Maratua Island. Relax at the resort, walk along the beach, or enjoy a final swim or kayaking session, depending on departure time and sea conditions.
Check out and board the speedboat for Tanjung Batu. Upon arrival, continue by road to Berau and transfer to Kalimarau Airport for your onward flight.
