Upon arrival at Banjarmasin Airport, meet our team and begin the journey by car or minibus to Nagara, a traditional stilt-built village surrounded by wetlands.
Here, we will have the opportunity to observe the unique daily life of local buffalo farmers. In the late afternoon, watch the water buffaloes return to their stalls, swimming through the swamp waters as they make their way home.
As the day comes to an end, enjoy a beautiful and tranquil sunset over the wetlands before continuing our journey to Loksado, where we check in and spend the night at a local lodge

Meratus resort or simillar
After breakfast, we travel to the foothills of the Meratus Mountains, where our rainforest adventure begins.
We start our trek through a combination of primary and secondary rainforest, following forest trails that wind across hills, through farmlands and past cascading waterfalls. Along the way, we cross traditional hanging and suspended bamboo bridges spanning rivers, streams and agricultural areas.
The trail eventually leads us to traditional Dayak villages and longhouses, where we have the opportunity to meet local communities and gain an insight into their traditional way of life.
Lunch will be served along the trail. In the afternoon, we take a different rainforest route back to Loksado, offering a fresh perspective on the surrounding landscape.

After an early breakfast at the lodge, a new adventure awaits.
We head to the Amandit River and begin our journey downstream on a traditional handmade bamboo raft. Drifting along the river, we pass through a beautiful tropical rainforest landscape, with dense greenery lining the riverbanks.
Our rafting adventure ends at Muara Hariang, where our vehicle will be waiting to continue the journey by road to Banjarmasin.
Lunch will be served en route. Upon arrival in Banjarmasin, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to the hotel for overnight.

Rise early this morning for a visit to the famous Banjarmasin Floating Market, an iconic part of South Kalimantan’s river culture.
As boats gather on the river, local traders sell fresh fruits, vegetables and other goods directly from boat to boat. This lively morning scene offers a fascinating glimpse into the traditional river-based lifestyle of the Banjarese people.
After the visit, return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out then transfer to the airport in time for your onward flight.
